E&I Estimator
1. Should have Saudi Experience and commercial and market knowledge with companies in Eastern region of Saudi Arabia, with Companies like, Madden, SABIC, Saudi Aramco etc.
2. Should have a wide vendor base and knowledge about cost estimation of major Electrical equipment/systems like Outdoor switchyards, GIS Electrical Substations, Power Transformers, High /Med. Voltage Switchgears, VFDs and VSDs, MCCs, UPS, Batteries, Cathodic Protection System, Grounding, Plant lighting etc.
3. Should be able to fully understand the technical requirements/specifications described in the bid and arrive at most optimum solution and cost.
4. Should be fully versed with practical interpretation and application of National Electrical / Instrumentation / Telecommunication Codes like IEEE/ANSI/ITU and other relevant International/Saudi codes and standards.
5. Experience in constructability study, contracts management and knowledge about requirements of interfaces inside an operating plant or other brownfield environment with a focus on cost optimization and offering the most economical bid solution.
6. Understanding of QA/QC and HSE requirements.
7. Knowledge and experience in project/activity scheduling.
8. Prepare construction/ Maintenance cost estimates with respect to scope accuracy. Review subcontractor s offer and deriving the most economical cost estimation.
9. Proactively review the tender techno commercial clauses and raise TQs on time.
10. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Project and Primavera.
11. Field and construction knowledge is preferred.
Qualifications: Diploma / Degree Electrical Engineering Experience Graduate Engineers- (Min) 07 years of experience. For Diploma Engineers- (Min) 10 years of experience.
