We are hiring for Purchasing Officer:
• Responsible for the complete cycle of buying starting from the RFI, RFQ, POs and LC opening process in coordination with finance and other related transactions in accordance with company policies, procedures and as per the updated specifications.
• Carry out & ownership for the government’s related activities for import permit, duty free certificates, custom’s issues and release for materials to avoid any penalty, demurrage or over cost for materials by liaising with the government’s officer & authorities as needed.
• Negotiate (as assigned); prepare the ground for negotiation for the best purchasing package (in terms of quality, price, terms, delivery and service) with local and international suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Prepare price comparisons and price’s reports considering the critical quality and commercial parameters in coordination with relevant department as needed to seek approvals as per the authority’s level prior to pursuing the purchase process.
• Keeping track for all open outstanding orders and highlight any issues would be predicted on timely basis for the ETD & ETA and communicate with suppliers, shipping lines, customs, clearance agents or other relevant parties and make his best to resolve the same.
• Handling, monitoring and communicate of quality complaints, claims and supplies issues for defectives, shortage, missing parts in coordination with related department and suppliers
