Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. The Project Engineer will play a key role in the successful execution of interior design and fitout projects, providing technical expertise, project management support, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project management team to plan, coordinate, and execute interior design and fitout projects from inception to completion.

• Conduct site assessments, surveys, and feasibility studies to gather project requirements and assess project constraints.

• Prepare detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure project objectives are met.

• Coordinate with architects, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met according to specifications and timelines.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance on interior design principles, fitout construction techniques, building codes, and regulations.

• Review project drawings, specifications, and documentation to identify potential issues, discrepancies, and value engineering opportunities.

• Monitor project progress, track project milestones, and update project status reports to management and stakeholders.

• Conduct quality inspections, tests, and reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and industry standards.

• Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement, and develop and implement mitigation strategies as needed.

• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates, resolving issues, and addressing concerns.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.

• Having more than 8 years of professional experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in the interior design Building and fitout industry in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

• Strong technical knowledge of interior design principles, fitout construction techniques, and building materials.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design and project management software.

• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of local regulations, building codes, and permitting processes in Saudi Arabia is preferred.

• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
