We Samaya Investment, one of the largest Events and Museum Solution providers in Saudi Arabia, are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various systems, Including network switches and configuration of routers and managing the network and hardware support. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in troubleshooting Networking and hardware and must be able to work in fast-paced environments.
IT Engineer Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain computer systems and networks, which may include personal computers, servers, networking equipment, operating systems, and software applications.
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Infrastructure Support: Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, and security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
Maintain and update system documentation.
Maintain and enhance security, recover lost data, and resolve system crashes.
Oversee IT vendor selection and management, including hardware, software and networking,
Support the company’s administrative functions, including purchasing and inventory control.
Support custom software development and quality assurance.
Requirements And Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
2+ years of proven work experience in IT.
Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
Knowledge of relevant IT standards and practices
Knowledge of information technology strategy development, including network, application, and infrastructure planning
Knowledge of hardware and software infrastructure systems
