We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of control panels for Zamil customers. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and control systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Install and commission control panels according to project specifications and safety regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot control panel malfunctions to ensure optimal plant operation and reliability.
• Conduct root cause analysis for machinery failures and warranty claims.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new control panel solutions that best meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with OEM technical support and customers to resolve complex technical issues.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including service reports, inspection reports, field service reports, timesheets, and customer satisfaction surveys.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior field service engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
• Possess a strong understanding of fault codes and the ability to troubleshoot and rectify basic mechanical problems.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety by adhering to all company safety protocols in workshops and on customer sites (ships).
DESIRED SKILLS:
• Hands-on Experience on
o Multibrand (MAN, Yanmar, Cummins, Bergen, Kohler, MTU) varoius control system
o Installation, set to work (STW) and commissioning
o Electronic diagnostic software usage

o Comprehend with drawings and schematics
• Strong understanding of electrical and control system principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
