Job description

 We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer specializing in interior design, architectural and landscape projects to join our construction team. The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities related to these areas, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and according to design specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in architecture and interior design, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise on-site activities related to architectural, interior design, and landscape aspects of the project, ensuring adherence to design plans, specifications, and timelines.

2. Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, landscape architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of design intent.

3. Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design standards, safety regulations, and building codes.

4. Review and interpret architectural and interior design drawings, blueprints, and landscape plans to guide construction activities and resolve discrepancies.

5. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of architectural and interior design materials, fixtures, and equipment to the site.

6. Provide technical advice and guidance on architectural, interior design, and landscape construction methods, materials, and best practices to project teams.

7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including site reports, progress reports, and quality control records specific to architectural, interior design, and landscape aspects.

8. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and interior designers to develop project schedules, resource allocation plans, and cost estimates.

9. Oversee the implementation of health and safety protocols specific to architectural, interior design, and landscape work, ensuring a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.

10. Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement related to architectural, interior design, and landscape elements.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field. Additional qualifications in Interior Design and/or Landscape Architecture are highly desirable.

2. Proven experience working as a Site Engineer in architectural, interior design, and landscape projects.

3. Strong knowledge of architectural and interior design principles, construction methods, materials, and regulations.

4. Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and interior design drawings, blueprints, and landscape plans.

5. Excellent organizational and project management skills.

6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders including architects, interior designers, contractors, and landscape architects.

8. Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

9. Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.

10. Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations specific to architectural, interior design, and landscape work.
