Key Responsibilities:

Project / Site Accountant (Arab Nationality)

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and present accurate financial reports for projects, including budget vs. actual comparisons.

Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes for projects.

Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions related to each project.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Develop, maintain, and update project budgets and forecasts.

Monitor project budgets and expenditures to identify variances and implement corrective actions as needed.

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and strategic plans for projects.

Cost Management:

Track project costs and manage project cost control processes.

Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.

Ensure that all project costs are properly allocated and recorded.

Compliance and Controls:

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard project assets and ensure financial integrity.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors for project audits.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and support.

Participate in project meetings and provide financial updates and recommendations.

Serve as a liaison between the finance department and project teams.

Financial Analysis:

Perform financial analysis to support decision-making and project evaluations.

Identify financial risks and opportunities within projects and provide recommendations.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation for projects.

Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.

Ensure all financial records are properly archived and easily accessible.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.

3-5 years of experience in project accounting or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
