Role Summary:
As a Site Supervisor, you’ll wear multiple hats—technical expert, team motivator, and problem solver. Here’s what your role entails:
On-Site Leadership:
Be the point person on the ground. Coordinate daily activities, manage resources, and ensure smooth project execution.
Lead by example—your work ethic sets the tone for the entire team.
Quality Control:
Inspect workmanship, materials, and adherence to specifications and standards. Strive for excellence in every detail.
Collaborate with engineers, architects and other stake holders to maintain quality standards.
Safety Champion:
Safety first! Enforce safety protocols rigorously. A hard hat and safety boots are your armor.
Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure compliance with regulations.
Schedule Adherence:
Keep the project on track. Monitor progress, adjust schedules as needed, and meet deadlines.
Anticipate bottlenecks and find solutions.
Technical Skills:
Understand construction drawings, specifications, and methods.
Familiarity with various trades (concrete, steel, finishes) and their sequencing.
Knowledge of civil, electrical, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and related construction technologies.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication: You’ll interact with laborers, subcontractors, and project managers.
Problem-solving: When unexpected challenges arise, you’ll find practical solutions.
Leadership: Motivate your team, resolve conflicts, and maintain morale.
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in construction supervision or site management.
Certifications: OSHA certification or equivalent safety training.
