Educational Requirements
1. Diploma Holder: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
2. Bachelor's Degree Holder in civil engineering. • Civil Engineer Role and Responsibilities 1. Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with ASTM, ACI, UBC, ISO 9001-2015, and other relevant quality management systems and building codes. 2. Quality Control: Verify all samples and third-party laboratory test reports.
3. Lead and oversee design and engineering activities for civil assets
4. Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
5. Provide technical guidance for stakeholders and maintenance teams.
6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions
7. Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings
8. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in civil and structural engineering
9. Ensure third-party reports comply with quality procedures and project specifications.
10. Equipment Analysis: Analyze equipment failure data to identify root causes and develop improvement strategies. 11. Foundation Review: Assess newly installed plant and equipment foundation structures. 12. Maintenance Procedures: Develop and implement new maintenance procedures.
