Job description

We seek a Project Engineer – E & I to oversee all engineering and technical disciplines in our projects.

You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and manage all technical activities, ensuring project

accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects

• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards

and specifications

• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in

the field

• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance)

and report regularly on project status

• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team

• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to

provide assistance and technical support

• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.

• Comprehensive bid preparation includes a study of the complete scope of works, drawings,

specifications and commercial terms & conditions.

• Study the exact site condition by visiting sites.

• Prepare Bill of Quantities by understanding project scope of works, specifications and

drawings.

• Prepare Pre-tender Clarification and communicate with the client to understand the scope and

specification in a right manner.

• Prepare quotation requests and communicate with equipment suppliers/sub contractors to get

the offer in time.

• Evaluation of Techno-Commercial Offers received from suppliers and compiling of Technical

offers for bid submission to end client.

• Preparation of preliminary work schedule, labour histogram and method statement for bidding

purposes.

• Prepare Commercial Cost Working including Material Supply, Tools & Equipment, Direct &

Indirect Cost & Finance requirements and submit to the Management for the final approval.

• Bid preparation as per the client requirement with all required supporting documents

• Discuss with Estimation Head about deviations with scope of works and advise ways to secure

the project with the best possible markup

• Follow-up with Client after submitting the bid and get the feedback about the bid and convince

them in technical / commercial aspects to get the order.

• Pre-qualification of the company in new markets and clients by submitting Pre-Qualification

documents and other details as requested by the clients.

Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience as a Project Engineer

• Advanced MS Office skills

• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards

• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects

• Project management and supervision skills

• Decision making ability and leadership skills

• Current engineer license (Saudi Council)

• Time management and organization skills

Note: With KSA driving license will be added value.
