The QAQC Document Controller is responsible for managing all project-related documentation in compliance with quality assurance and quality control standards. This role ensures that all documentation is accurately maintained, readily accessible, and adheres to regulatory and project-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and manage all QAQC documentation including drawings, specifications, reports, and records.
2. Ensure document control procedures are in place and adhered to by all project team members.
3. Establish and maintain an organized filing system for both hard copy and electronic documents.
4. Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
5. Distribute documents to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
6. Track document distribution and ensure recipients acknowledge receipt.
7. Assist the QAQC Manager in implementing quality control procedures.
8. Ensure all documentation meets quality assurance requirements and standards.
9. Participate in internal audits and assist in preparing audit reports.
10. Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
11. Prepare regular reports on document control activities and status updates for the QAQC Manager.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management) or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience in document control, preferably within the QAQC or construction industry.
3. Familiarity with document control software and systems.
4. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
