Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ( Safety Engineer ) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a safe work environment, and developing safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites.
* Identify potential hazards and risks, and propose corrective actions.
* Provide safety training and orientation for all employees and subcontractors.
* Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety measures are integrated into project plans.
* Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.
* Maintain safety records and reports, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in safety within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
* Certification in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
