A survey manager is responsible for overseeing a site and directing crews on survey plans associated with engineering and construction projects. Additional duties include preparing proposals, contracts, and reports; consulting with clients; preparing right-of-way plans; performing fieldwork; and drawing/drafting maps.
You will be responsible for managing the surveying function, ensuring effective resource planning and allocation to ensure adequate resources are in place to deliver service objectives effectively.
Land surveyors measure and map the shape of land. They gather data for civil engineering and construction projects so that accurate site plans can be drawn. As a surveyor, you'll be part of a fast-moving, technologically advanced industry.
