Operations Management:
Oversee daily operations of civil infrastructure systems, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and buildings.
Develop and implement operational procedures and maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of infrastructure.
Maintenance Planning:
Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for civil infrastructure.
Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all operations and maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support and expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex engineering problems related to infrastructure.
Utilize engineering software and tools for analysis, design, and reporting.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Prepare and present reports on the condition of infrastructure, maintenance activities, and budget status to management.
Continuous Improvement:
Evaluate existing maintenance processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PE license) is a plus.
*5+years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on operations and maintenance.
*Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, infrastructure systems, and maintenance practices.
*Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project).
*Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
*Experience with project management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
*Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to civil engineering and infrastructure.
