Position Overview:

Petroraq is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Jubail, focusing on construction infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control within the construction sector, with a specific emphasis on infrastructure projects. The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the required standards and specifications, maintaining high-quality workmanship, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance and Control:

Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures and standards in line with project requirements.

Inspect and evaluate the quality of materials, workmanship, and completed work.

Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and specifications.

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and resolve quality issues.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality concerns and provide solutions.

Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including reports, records, and certificates.

Review and approve quality control plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and method statements.

Document non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented.

Monitor and report on the quality performance of subcontractors and suppliers.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all construction activities comply with local and international safety regulations and standards.

Conduct safety audits and enforce adherence to safety procedures on site.

Promote a culture of quality and safety within the team and across all project activities.

Training and Development:

Provide training and support to site personnel on QA/QC procedures and best practices.

Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes affecting quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Proven experience of at least 5-7 years in QA/QC roles within the construction infrastructure sector.

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Familiarity with ISO standards and other relevant quality management systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and QA/QC software tools.

Preferred:

Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or related fields.

Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects in the KSA region.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?5,000.00 - ?7,000.00 per month
