Job Title: Elevator QA/QC Engineer

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Position Type: Fulltime

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Elevator QA/QC Engineer for local hiring in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elevator systems and quality control, with a transferable iqama preferred. This role involves ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety for elevator systems through inspections, testing, and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance and Control: Develop and implement quality control procedures for elevator installations and maintenance to ensure compliance with local and international standards.

• Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and performance tests on elevator systems, ensuring they meet design specifications, safety regulations, and operational standards.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all elevator systems and processes comply with regulations, and industry standards. Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions. Prepare and present reports for management and regulatory bodies.

• Issue Identification and Resolution: Detect and address defects or issues in elevator systems. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to implement effective corrective actions.

• Process Improvement: Review and enhance QA/QC processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance of elevator systems.

• Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to installation and maintenance teams on quality standards and best practices.

• Audits and Reviews: Perform regular audits and reviews of elevator systems and processes to ensure ongoing compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients regarding quality concerns, provide technical advice, and address service issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in elevator systems, particularly in quality assurance and control.

• Strong knowledge of international standards related to elevators.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in interpreting technical documents and codes.

• Transferable iqama is highly preferred.
