Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and plan water distribution systems, considering efficiency, safety, and environmental impact.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and hydraulic modeling to optimize water installation designs.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including civil engineers, architects, and project managers, to integrate water installation plans into overall project designs.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for water installation projects.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of water distribution systems, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of water installation systems, recommending improvements and maintenance strategies as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in water installation engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering* or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience* in designing and implementing water distribution systems.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and hydraulic modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and water treatment processes.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and standards related to water installation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and documentation.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose practical solutions.
• Project management skills to coordinate and oversee water installation projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
