Job Vacancy: Electrical Engineer - Riyadh
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with substantial experience to join our team in Riyadh for operations and maintenance work. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in English (speaking and writing).
- Preferably based in Riyadh – no overseas hiring.
- Applications that do not meet the criteria will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design of electrical systems and MEP systems, including planning and preparing designs.
- Managing and supervising MEP works across various projects, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety systems, and low voltage systems.
- Reviewing and approving design drawings, shop drawings, and material inspections.
- Approving materials, inspecting them, and estimating material quantities.
- Inspecting work quality to ensure compliance with provided standards.
- Responding to technical clarifications (RFIs) and coordinating with the main contractor and design consultant.
- Participating in all aspects of MEP project management as required.
- Short-term planning and coordination on-site in line with the project master plan.
- Ensuring safe work practices according to the project safety plan.
- Setting targets and monitoring the productivity of subcontractors on-site.
- Managing and tracking site progress, preparing reports, overseeing manpower and subcontractors, and resource management.
- Ensuring quality control and that work is completed according to project specifications.
- Interacting with clients, understanding their needs, and representing them in the projects.
- Preparing invoices, creating IPCs, and validating quantities and amounts based on inspections and project verifications.
- Cost estimation and preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for new projects.
