Mechanical Engineer + AutoCAD Operator (HVAC & MEP Division)
Salary: Negotiable - Depend on Interview
Reports to: Project Manager/Operation Manager
Working Hours: As per site requirement.
Experience: Minimum 5 Years’ Gulf Experience
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring site progress and quality of MEP (mechanical, plumbing, electrical) works and compliance with approved shop drawings and installation schedules.
2. Co-ordination with MEP subcontractor both at site level and with subcontractor’s engineers.
3. To be part of proactive Construction Site Team
4. Monitoring and reporting site progress and compliance with specification and drawings.
5. Experience in HVAC (Installation, Design, Maintenance). Experience in Cost Control. Project Scheduling.
6. Site Coordination & Client Relation
7. Maintain documents relating to site activity and project management / reports
8. Evaluate designs & engineering plans
Drafting and Design: Create, modify, and update 2D and 3D technical drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems using AutoCAD. Coordination with Project Teams
Revisions and Updates: Modify existing drawings based on feedback from engineers, site conditions, and client requirements.
Quality Control and Compliance: Perform thorough checks on all drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with design intent and project specifications.
Documentation and File Management: Maintain an organized system for storing, retrieving, and revising CAD drawings.
Technical Support and On-Site Assistance: Provide technical support to project managers and construction teams by supplying accurate and clear AutoCAD drawings for reference.
Software and Tool Management: Keep up to date with the latest AutoCAD tools and industry trends, particularly those related to HVAC and MEP.
Utilize additional software as needed (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, or BIM) for advanced modeling and coordination if required by the project.
