Job title: Site Engineer (Civil Engineer)
Responsibilities:
1. Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site to ensure that the work is being performed according to plans, specifications, and standards.
2. Surveying and Site Layout: Perform or supervise site surveys and assist in setting out the work.
3. Quality Control: Ensure that construction materials, workmanship, and procedures meet project quality standards.
4. Progress Reporting: Keep records of work progress, report delays, and provide regular updates to project managers or senior engineers.
5. Health and Safety: Enforce safety regulations on-site to minimize accidents and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
6. Inspections: Conduct inspections to verify that the project is progressing according to the plan, with quality and safety as priorities.
Required qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (LAST 3 YEARS WITH LARGE SCALE CIVIL PROJECTS).
3. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with construction workers, contractors, and project managers.
4. Teamwork: Must work well in teams, coordinating between different groups on-site to meet project goals.
5. Problem-Solving: Ability to address issues that arise during construction and provide quick, effective solutions.
6. Attention to Detail: Ensuring that every part of the construction process is followed according to the design and engineering plans.
Preferred qualifications:
1. Having previous Aramco project experience.
