Job title: Project Engineer (Civil Engineering Supervisor)
Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil engineering projects, including roads, buildings, and infrastructure.
2. Team Supervision: Lead and direct a team of engineers, technicians, and site workers to ensure the effective execution of tasks.
3. Quality Assurance: Ensure that the work meets the required standards, codes, and regulations.
4. Scheduling: Create and maintain project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
5. Safety Oversight: Implement and enforce safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
6. Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders, prepare reports, and address issues that arise during construction.
Required qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
2. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience (LAST 5 YEARS WITH LARGE SCALE CIVIL PROJECTS), with a demonstrated ability to manage or supervise projects and teams.
3. Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards (building codes, environmental regulations, etc.).
4. Understanding of Construction Materials and techniques.
5. Team Management: Proven ability to lead and manage engineers, construction workers, and project staff.
6. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and government authorities.
7. Budgeting & Scheduling: Ability to create and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring projects stay on track financially and chronologically.
8. Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making skills and the ability to resolve construction or design issues on-site.
Preferred qualifications:
1. Having previous Aramco project experience.
