Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer with expertise in fluid mechanics, pumping systems, and water flow technologies. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience in designing, analyzing, and optimizing fluid flow systems for industrial or municipal applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and analyze fluid mechanics systems including pumps, valves, piping, and water distribution networks.
• Develop and optimize solutions for water flow systems in various applications, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct hydraulic and fluid dynamic calculations to ensure system integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including civil engineers, project managers, and contractors to implement system designs.
• Perform on-site testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of pumping and fluid handling systems.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and system specifications.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in fluid mechanics and water systems engineering.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in fluid mechanics, pumping systems, and water flow design.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or relevant fluid dynamic simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent).
• Strong understanding of hydraulic principles and pump selection criteria.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., ANSI, ASTM, ASME).
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in municipal water supply systems or industrial fluid management.
• Knowledge of sustainable water management solutions and environmental regulations.
