We're hiring a Mechanical Engineers responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical products and systems. The role also involves supervising production processes.
Duties:
1. Capital Construction Programs:
- Assist in developing, managing, and implementing capital construction projects.
2. Structural Design and Updates:
- Contribute to updating structural designs, equipment specifications, and drawings.
3. Construction Scheduling:
- Assist in creating and maintaining construction schedules.
4. Project Analysis:
- Evaluate project requirements, components, and systems.
5. Budgeting and Planning:
- Contribute to project budget development and planning.
6. Maintenance and Testing:
- Help create and revise maintenance and test plans and procedures.
- Perform field inspections and testing.
7. Engineering Systems:
- Develop and design integrated HVAC, plumbing, building automation, electrical, fire safety, and security systems and to conduct evaluations, inspections, etc.
Responsibilities:
1. System Solutions:
- Assist in identifying and evaluating solutions for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection system design issues.
2. Blueprint Analysis:
- Study plans and blueprints to assess design feasibility.
3. Equipment Recommendations:
- Provide recommendations for equipment selection, considering factors like type, size, capacity, thermal efficiency, energy efficiency, and cost.
4. Calculations and Compliance:
- Perform calculations to determine energy efficiency, equipment capacities, heating and cooling requirements, and code compliance.
5. System Design Review:
- Evaluate electrical and plumbing system plans for feasibility.
- Review and recommend modifications to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
Skills & Requirements:
1. Education:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical engineering.
2. Experience:
- Minimum 4-5 years as a mechanical engineer in Saudi/GCC.
3. Track Record:
- Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality mechanical designs.
4. Expertise:
- Strong understanding of mechanical design processes, materials, and construction techniques.
5. Regulatory Knowledge:
- Familiarity with building code regulations and standards.
