Job Overview:

We are seeking skilled and experienced professionals for the following roles within our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department:

HSE Engineer

HSE Supervisor

HSE Officer

These roles are critical in ensuring workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and the well-being of our employees. The ideal candidates will have in-depth knowledge of HSE principles, relevant industry standards, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

HSE Engineer:

Develop and implement HSE policies, programs, and procedures.

Ensure compliance with local and international HSE standards.

Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

Provide technical advice and support on HSE matters to project teams.

Lead investigations into accidents and incidents and recommend preventive measures.

HSE Supervisor:

Supervise and monitor day-to-day HSE activities across the site.

Ensure the implementation of safety measures and adherence to regulations.

Conduct safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks with teams.

Train staff on safety protocols and emergency response procedures.

Report on safety performance and recommend improvements.

HSE Officer:

Monitor daily site operations to ensure compliance with HSE standards.

Assist in preparing and reviewing risk assessments and safety plans.

Conduct safety inductions for new employees and contractors.

Maintain records of safety activities, incidents, and reports.

Support in the investigation of accidents and near misses.

Qualifications:

For HSE Engineer:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Strong understanding of HSE regulations, ISO standards, and risk management.

For HSE Supervisor:

Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent certification.

Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in HSE.

Familiarity with local and international HSE laws and standards.

For HSE Officer:

Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent).

At least 2 years of experience in an HSE role.

Good knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in HSE software and reporting tools.
