Inventory Management:
Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities and specifications against documentation.
Organize inventory within the warehouse to ensure easy access and effective space management.
Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure data accuracy and stock condition.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain and update inventory records, documenting all receipt and distribution activities.
Prepare periodic reports on inventory levels, needs, and reports on missing or damaged items.
Supplier Coordination:
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and address any shipping or quality issues.
Track order statuses and request necessary quantities to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
Maintenance and Safety:
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the warehouse and equipment.
Implement safety procedures to safeguard inventory and prevent losses or theft.
Order Processing:
Prepare orders for distribution according to management or customer requirements.
Verify accuracy of shipments and review all orders before dispatch.
Process Improvement:
Suggest improvements in procedures to enhance storage and distribution efficiency.
Stay updated on the latest practices and technologies in inventory management and apply them as needed.
