Job Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials and supplies.
Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments and materials.
Issue materials and supplies based on requisition forms from various departments.
Regularly update inventory system to reflect accurate stock levels.
Conduct periodic stock checks and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
Ensure the store area is organized, clean, and complies with safety standards.
Monitor stock levels and communicate with procurement to prevent shortages.
Handle any other duties assigned by the warehouse manager.
Job Requirements:
Prior experience in a storekeeping or warehouse role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping.
Should have good knowledge of Excel for managing inventory and generating reports.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to lift and move materials as required.
Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and procedures.
