Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Safety Officers to support one of our upcoming projects for a leading client, Saudi Aramco. The role requires individuals who can be deployed immediately, subject to passing the client exam and interview. Candidates must have significant experience with Saudi Aramco procedures and technical expertise in construction HSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco safety standards and procedures during construction projects.
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections at project sites.
Develop and enforce safety protocols, ensuring that project activities meet safety regulations.
Lead safety meetings and briefings to ensure all personnel are aware of site safety protocols.
Prepare and submit reports regarding site safety performance and incidents.
Act as the main point of contact between the project team and Saudi Aramco safety management.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of work experience with Saudi Aramco PMT in safety officer roles, specifically on large construction projects.
Education:
Engineering Degree (preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering) is highly desirable.
Skills:
Extensive knowledge of Saudi Aramco safety procedures and guidelines.
Fluency in English (writing, reading, and speaking) is required, as the Saudi Aramco exam focuses on technical construction HSE questions.
Fluency in Hindi/Urdu/Bengali is preferred to enhance communication with teams.
Exams:
Ability to pass a 60-minute exam (100 items including multiple choice, identification, and essay questions) focused on technical construction HSE topics.
Additional Requirements:
Must be available for deployment as soon as possible.
Candidates must undergo and pass a client interview and exam before placement.
