**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled PLC Engineer with experience in automation and control systems, specializing in Rockwell PLC and Siemens PCS7. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and maintaining PLC systems to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with industrial automation, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in system reliability and performance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, and program PLC control systems for automated equipment and machinery.
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs, primarily using Rockwell PLC and Siemens PCS7.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including electrical drawings, control schematics, and system configurations.
- Work closely with project teams to install, commission, and maintain PLC systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for control system issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during system design and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.
**Preferred Experience**
- **3+ years** of hands-on experience with Rockwell PLC and Siemens PCS7 programming, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in interpreting P&ID diagrams, control schematics, and electrical drawings.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus).
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance (e.g., IEC, NFPA).
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Rockwell Automation and Siemens PCS7 platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
**Preferred Skills**
- Additional certifications in Rockwell and Siemens automation systems.
- Familiarity with HMI and SCADA development.
