Job Description: Site Engineer (5+ Years Experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry and a proven track record of delivering successful projects. You will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and design to execution and completion.

Responsibilities:

* Project Planning and Management:

* Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.

* Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.

* Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless collaboration.

* Site Supervision:

* Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.

* Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any deviations or quality issues.

* Monitor material deliveries and ensure timely availability of resources.

* Quality Assurance:

* Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

* Perform quality checks on materials, workmanship, and construction processes.

* Document and report on quality assurance activities.

* Safety Management:

* Enforce strict safety protocols and procedures on the construction site.

* Conduct safety inspections and training sessions for site personnel.

* Respond promptly to safety incidents and implement corrective actions.

* Technical Expertise:

* Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

* Utilize surveying equipment and software to accurately set out and level the site.

* Troubleshoot technical issues and provide innovative solutions.

* Reporting and Documentation:

* Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, cost reports, and quality control documentation.

* Maintain accurate project records and documentation.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction site engineering.

* Strong understanding of construction principles, methods, and materials.

* Proficiency in construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, Project Management software).

* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

* Valid driver's license.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

* Professional Engineer (PE) license.

* Experience in specific construction sectors (e.g., commercial, residential, industrial).

* Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

* Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
