Position Summary

1. Performing workplaces and project site QA/QC inspection.

2. Monitoring of measuring and testing equipment’s.

3. Inspection of third party materials

4. Review of base design, detailed design and scheme drawings.

5. Testing of following Protection Panel for voltage level 380 kV, 132kV, 33kV, 13.8 kV

6. Reporting Key performance indicators related to quality control.

7. Assist Corporate Quality Manager for quality and safety issues and other requirements.

Major Responsibilities:

8. Maintenance of quality standards/customer standards for processes, materials, and products.

9. Conducts inspection and testing as per the quality plan/scheme drawings.

10. Suggests changes in Sampling plan, methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.

11. Reporting of Non-conforming product.

12. Supporting in finding the root cause and taking corrective actions to eliminate the product nonconformities.

13. Reporting of supplier related quality issues and follow up for corrective actions from the suppliers.

14. Responsible for disposition of Non-conforming material.

15. Maintenance of Quality inspection i.e. basic assembly, wiring stages, Internal test/PRE-FAT and Final Acceptance Test SCADA Equipment( RTU ,SOE ), Control and Protection panels and ACDB,DCDB panels

16. Monitoring of Factory Acceptance Test conducted by the customer representative/third party.

17. Be part of Customer Audits.

QMS & EHSMS Responsibilities (Mandatory for all employees)

18. Understand & comply with all applicable requirements (legal & others)

19. Understand & comply with QMS/EHSMS relevant requirements, objectives and Quality/EHS Policy.

20. Perform work in the ways that protect environment and provide a safe and healthy workplace all workers. Prevent workplace injuries, ill health, and incidents to reach our goal of ‘Zero harm to people, property and environment’.

21. Keep aware of department risk & opportunities and affectively handling those for continual improvement.

Required Competencies:

31. Knowledge of using electrical testing equipment’s.

32. Should have good coordination skills for recording the report

33. Knowledge of Quality Management System.

34. Internal Auditing.

Required Work Experience:

35. Minimum 5 years of RELATED work experience as protection engineer & Quality control engineer

Education/Qualification Requirements:

36. Bachelors, B.Sc. (Honors) in Electronic Engineer, Telecommunication & Control Engineering from University of Gezira, Sudan.

37. Completed ISO 9001:2015 training.

38. Completed ISO 45001:2018 training.

39. Internal Auditors training.
