Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Implementing Safety Policies and Procedures:
• Ensure compliance with local (e.g., Civil Defense, Ministry of Labor) and international (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) safety regulations.
• Develop and implement emergency response and evacuation plans.
• Monitor workers and subcontractors for adherence to safety procedures.
2. Safety Inspections and Audits:
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Prepare periodic reports on violations, hazards, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Verify the safety condition of equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
3. Training and Awareness:
• Organize safety training sessions for workers and engineers.
• Educate employees on the importance of using PPE and handling hazardous materials.
• Conduct regular safety meetings with site teams.
4. Incident Investigation:
• Investigate workplace accidents and injuries, identifying root causes.
• Provide detailed incident reports with recommendations for prevention.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities (e.g., Civil Defense) in case of serious incidents.
5. Legal Compliance:
• Stay updated on changes in safety laws and regulations and ensure their implementation.
• Prepare required documents and reports for governmental inspections.
6. Risk and Emergency Management:
• Identify and analyze potential project risks and develop preventive measures.
