Job Purpose

The Project Engineer is responsible for providing assistance and support in planning, execution, and delivery of the assigned projects within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards; assisting in all technical aspects of the project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning and hence contributing to the overall success and growth of Tasnee.

Role responsibilities:

•

Provide credible support and assistance in the assigned engineering projects from initial stages through to execution and final close-out that includes achieving project objectives and implementing comprehensive project plans.

•

Apply integrated project management methodologies to streamline Tasnee’s construction initiatives ensuring projects remain aligned with budgetary and scheduling constraints.

•

Leverage project management software to provide comprehensive dashboards and status reports, facilitating data-driven decision-making for the senior management.

•

Communicate and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders for the assigned projects.

•

Exhibit strong planning skills that directly contribute to productivity, accuracy, optimization and effectiveness.

•

Demonstrate know-how related to project procedures for managing, entertaining, documenting, approving or disapproving change requests.

•

Assist in development and planning of a comprehensive project scope, outlining the specific tasks, constraints, and deliverables required to ensure that all team members understand the project’s direction and desired outcomes ensuring these objectives remain aligned with stakeholder expectations throughout the project by implementing structured communication and feedback channels.

•

Assist in development of detailed project schedules and define sequence activities along with estimated durations, utilizing advanced scheduling techniques (e.g., CPM and PERT) and software like Primavera P6 to coordinate tasks, optimize timelines, and monitor project milestones.

•

Assist in conducting a comprehensive analysis of all cost factors, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses; break down each component of the project to establish a precise estimate, ensuring accuracy in individual cost items.

•

Assist in planning and identifying project risks, perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.

Classification: Tasnee - General Information

•

Assist in defining measurable quality metrics that reflect project success criteria, such as durability, performance, and compliance levels, providing a structured way to assess quality throughout the project lifecycle.

•

Assist in the assigned project procurement-related matters.

Minimum Qualification:

•

Bachelor’s degree in engineering field.

•

Project Management Professional (Preferred).

Minimum Experience:

•

5 to 8 years’ experience in project engineering or management, with a proven track record in delivering complex projects in the petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
