Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Additional certifications in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001, ASME, API, AWS, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Experience:
8–12 years of strong Quality Control/Assurance experience in construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
Experience in inspections, site quality audits, testing, material approvals, and documentation.
For QC Civil Engineer:
Expertise in inspecting civil works (excavation, concrete, rebar, structural works, finishing works, etc.).
Knowledge of relevant civil standards (ASTM, ACI, BS Codes, IS Codes).
Experience in reviewing project drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
Conduct site inspections, tests (slump test, cube test), and monitor workmanship.
For QC Mechanical Engineer:
Hands-on experience in piping, welding inspection, HVAC, fabrication, installation, and mechanical system testing.
Familiar with codes like ASME, API, ASTM, and ISO standards.
Conduct NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) coordination and welding procedure reviews.
Manage inspection of mechanical equipment installation and commissioning.
For QC Electrical Engineer:
Knowledge of electrical installations (LV/MV panels, cables, grounding, lighting, fire alarm, BMS, etc.).
Familiar with standards like IEC, NEC, IEEE.
Inspection of cable pulling, terminations, testing (megger test, high-voltage test).
Review shop drawings, material approvals, and method statements for electrical systems.
Skills Required (for all fields):
Strong documentation and reporting skills (daily reports, NCRs, RFI, punch lists).
Good understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Good communication skills to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and third-party inspectors.
Familiarity with site safety standards and procedures.
