Job Summary:
90 Degree for Engineering Consulting Co. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer with a focus on Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate design drawings in accordance with project requirements and local authority regulations. This role requires strong AutoCAD proficiency and experience in fire protection system design within engineering consulting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm systems in line with project specifications and applicable codes.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure design integrity and compliance.
• Develop design drawings, layout plans, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for fire protection systems.
• Ensure all drawings meet Saudi Civil Defense requirements and relevant standards (e.g., NFPA, SBC).
• Update and revise drawings based on project changes or client feedback.
• Maintain organized documentation of all design files and drawing records.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation required for authority approvals.
• Participate in coordination meetings and site visits when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support proposal development and design submissions.
• Perform quantity estimations from drawings as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or drafting field.
• 2–3 years of experience in fire system design using AutoCAD, preferably within an engineering consultancy.
• Strong AutoCAD skills; experience with Revit is a plus.
• Good understanding of fire protection codes and standards, including NFPA and SBC.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Good communication and coordination capabilities.
