Key Responsibilities
1- (Representation) Representing the owner in engineering and technical capacities throughout all phases of project construction.
2- (Financial Audit) Reviewing design and implementation plans, supervising all implementation phases, and reviewing monthly statements.
3- (Field and Office Supervision) Monitoring the performance of contractors and the consulting office, both in the office and on the ground, throughout all project phases to ensure the project's progress and the quality of work carried out in accordance with engineering standards.
4- (Cost Control) Working to find the most appropriate engineering, technical, and administrative solutions and alternatives to reduce any excess project costs, negotiating with contractors and suppliers, and obtaining quotes from new parties to ensure the project receives the best prices.
5- (Discipline) Committing to seriousness and discipline in work, both in attendance and in the work environment, and reflecting this on the other parties working on the project and on the ground.
6- (Travel) Travel outside of Medina if required to carry out any project-related task, with the employer covering transportation, subsistence, and housing expenses.
7- (Behavior) Appreciation and a sense of responsibility for the position assigned to him, representing the project owner, and the discipline required in dealing with other parties, maintaining the reputation of the owner and his administrative staff.
8- (Work Quality) The engineer is responsible to the owner for the quality of all work performed. He also has the authority to take appropriate action against the contractor and consultant for any comments or concerns.
