Responsibilities:
Working under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the successful candidate should be able to oversee and manage the Industrial EPC Project by closely working with the stakeholders, having the following responsibilities:
-Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high standards of civil construction.
Inspect civil works and construction materials on-site for compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
-Conduct regular audits of ongoing construction activities, providing technical expertise to resolve any quality-related issues.
-Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met.
-Perform testing and inspections on structural components to ensure they function according to design specifications.
-Review design documents, drawings, and specifications to identify potential quality issues and ensure compliance.
-Prepare and maintain quality control reports, documenting inspection results and corrective actions taken.
-Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and health & safety standards during construction and installation.
-Assist in training team members and other stakeholders on quality control best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience as a Civil Quality Control Engineer, preferably within KSA.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction materials, and quality control practices.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, and their installation processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and software.
Valid driving license.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D or 3D (civil engineering designs).
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
