We are urgently seeking a qualified Procurement Engineer with the following credentials:
Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in procurement within the interior construction industry
- At least 7+ years of relevant Gulf region experience
- Arabic speaking and reading is mandatory
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Proven experience in procurement for interior fit-out and construction projects
- Strong negotiation and vendor/subcontractor management skills
- Familiarity with local and international suppliers
- Ability to manage multiple project requirements under pressure
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to interior fit-out
- Source and procure materials and services for civil and structural works
- Evaluate and select vendors based on price, quality, and lead time
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely deliveries
- Ensure procurement complies with industry standards
- Maintain and track project inventory
- Conduct cost/quality analysis for process optimization
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions
