We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and ensure financial integrity across all operations.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting functions of the company, with a strong focus on the unique needs of the F&B industry. This includes financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, compliance, and team supervision. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the F&B sector and a passion for driving accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.

Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and forecasts.

Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy of financial reporting and safeguard company assets.

Review food cost, labor cost, and overhead to ensure accurate cost reporting and profitability.

Coordinate with operations and procurement to monitor inventory and COGS.

Prepare and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

Ensure compliance with tax, zakat, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff.

Recommend and implement process improvements for better efficiency and accuracy.

Provide financial insights to support business decisions and strategy.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (DIP-IFRS or CMA preferred).

Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in the F&B industry.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.

Proficient in accounting software (Odoo 17 ERP system is preferred).

Experience with restaurant or hospitality financial systems is highly preferred.

Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.
