We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mechanical Site Engineer to join our project execution team. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage the mechanical works at the construction site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. You will coordinate with various departments including design, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and safe site operations.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and execute mechanical activities (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, or piping, depending on project).
Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQ to ensure accurate implementation at site.
Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with project schedule and quality standards.
Coordinate with civil, electrical, and safety teams to avoid conflicts and ensure seamless progress.
Inspect material deliveries and installation works as per approved technical submittals and project standards.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and report to the site/project manager.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers for inspections and approvals.
Ensure proper documentation including ITPs, checklists, and QA/QC records.
Enforce health and safety regulations as per company policy and local standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3–7 years of relevant site experience in construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas sectors.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASTM, etc.).
Proficient in reading technical drawings and documentation.
Familiar with QA/QC procedures, testing, and commissioning practices.
Good communication and team coordination skills.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools is a plus.
Must be currently available in KSA with transferable Iqama (if applicable).
