Basic Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech).
Master’s degree (M.E. or M.Tech) is a plus, especially for design or academic roles.
Experience:
Entry Level: 0–2 years (internship or trainee programs).
Mid Level: 3–7 years (project execution, maintenance, design).
Senior Level: 8+ years (project lead, managerial roles, specialization).
Certifications (as per industry):
AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA for design.
PMP (Project Management Professional).
OSHA or NEBOSH (safety).
ASME or API codes familiarity.
Saudi Council of Engineers (for KSA jobs).

Mechanical design & drafting.
HVAC, piping, plumbing, fire fighting systems (for MEP).
Knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines.
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Understanding of industry standards: ASME, ASTM, ISO, API, etc.
