Job Summary:
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing civil construction activities on Saudi Aramco projects, ensuring full compliance with Aramco engineering standards, specifications, and safety procedures. The role requires coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure quality, schedule, and cost objectives are achieved without compromising safety or regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review and interpret civil and structural drawings, specifications, and standards in accordance with Aramco project requirements.
2. Supervise and inspect civil works including earthworks, concrete, foundations, structural steel, and finishing works to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
3. Monitor construction activities to ensure Aramco safety and environmental protocols are strictly followed.
4. Coordinate with Aramco inspectors for civil work inspections, approvals, and material submittals.
5. Prepare and submit technical reports, daily progress updates, and documentation as required by project and Aramco protocols.
6. Ensure timely delivery of work by planning activities, resources, and manpower efficiently.
7. Identify technical issues, propose solutions, and resolve site conflicts in coordination with design and engineering teams.
8. Review Method Statements, ITPs (Inspection Test Plans), and work procedures in line with Aramco specifications.
9. Support QA/QC teams in material inspections, concrete testing, and documentation review.
10. Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and internal departments to maintain workflow and project alignment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience with at least 2–3 years in Saudi Arabia.
Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of Aramco Standards (SAES, SAMSS, SAEP, SATIP, SAF).
2. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
3. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
4. Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
