Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Cost Control Specialist to join our team . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing cost control processes to manage and monitor project costs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement cost control processes and procedures to track and manage project costs.
Assist in preparing project budgets and coding budget items for reporting purposes.
Monitor actual costs versus budgets, identify variances, and provide analysis and recommendations.
Integrate work progress data with incurred costs to develop cost KPIs.
Prepare forecasting and variance reports and propose corrective actions.
Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to optimize costs.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Maintain accurate cost records and documentation for audits and compliance.
Support management with regular cost control reports and financial analysis.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Civil) or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in cost control within the construction sector.
Proficiency in cost control software (e.g., Primavera, ERP, Excel).
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Familiarity with the project lifecycle, procurement, and change management.
