Job Title: Safety Officer – Civil (Commercial Building Project)

Location: Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia

About the Role:

We are urgently looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team for Qiddiya project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest safety standards on site, promoting a culture of health and safety, and ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor the company’s HSE policies and procedures on the construction site.

Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

Identify hazards and provide solutions to minimize safety risks.

Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training for workers and site staff.

Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, and near misses.

Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, civil defense requirements, and project-specific safety requirements.

Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to maintain a safe work environment.

Maintain proper documentation and safety records as per company and legal requirements.

Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly safety reports to the management.

Lead emergency response drills and ensure readiness.

Key Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role, preferably on building construction projects.

Certification: NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent safety certifications.

Language: Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.

KSA Experience: Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia is required.

Strong understanding of local safety regulations and international standards.

Excellent communication and observation skills.

Must be available to join immediately.
