Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Engineer specializing in Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm Systems to oversee and manage the inspection, installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire protection systems at project sites. The ideal candidate will ensure that all systems are designed, installed, and maintained in compliance with applicable standards and regulations while coordinating effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and manage the Inspection, installation, testing, and commissioning of firefighting and fire alarm systems.
• Ensure project timelines and budgets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and plans for fire protection systems.
• Ensure all systems comply with NFPA standards, local codes, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members as needed.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor the progress of fire system installations.
• Perform and document functional and performance testing of fire systems to ensure proper operation.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols at project sites.
• Ensure all installed systems meet quality standards and function effectively.
• Prepare detailed reports, including progress updates, test results, and system performance evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and inspection activities.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in firefighting and fire alarm system projects, preferably in the Middle East.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, local fire codes, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
