*DESIGNATION: Cost Estimator – Civil for Commercial Building Project

*EXPERIENCE: 6 YEARS – 10 YEARS

*LOCATION: Riyadh (Saudi Arabia)

*QUALIFICATION: BE / B.Tech – Civil Engineering

*Experience*: 4 -8 Year Saudi Commercial Building or Highways Projects.

*Salary Range*: 6,000 SAR to 8,000 SAR

*Description:*

We are looking for a competent Cost Estimator / Biding Tendering to oversee the construction activities of our building project in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will ensure that all civil works are executed Design, efficiently, and according to project specifications and timelines.

*Roles & Responsibilities:

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a cost estimator specifically focused on pre-bid activities for building projects for Civil, Arch & STR with Fit-out Activities.

• Review BOQ, Tender drawings, specification, special & general conditions which have to be verified all together, in coordinating with all trades including MEP.

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, labor costs, equipment costs, and current market rates.

• Experience in analyzing bid documents, RFQ’s and RFPs and raise Clarifications for the RFQs and RFPs and rectify BIDS accordingly while Bidding.

• Prepare detailed pre-bid cost estimates for Building Projects & Roads, Infrastructure with Utility Services.

• Candidate should have experience in project execution of minimum 3-4 years plus recently working for Tendering stage of Projects in the Kingdom.

• Analyze bid documents, RFQs, and RFPs to understand project scope, specifications and contractual requirements.

• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project budget and scope.

• Maintain documentation and records related to pre-bid cost estimation activities and pricing and handover the successful Bids to the Procurement/Execution Team.

• Proficiency in cost estimation methodologies, Quantities take off against Tender or IFC drawings.

• To work on software like AutoCAD, Rivet, Plan Swift or others.

• Pricing for Turnkey construction projects for Buildings and Infra Projects.

• Coordinate with Planning & financial department in preparing initial time schedule & cash flow taking into consideration any financial expenses. Coordinate with Procurement Department to collect information about market prices for suppliers & subcontractors and equipment based upon previous executed projects & recent available information, try to get the best committed prices from suitable sources.

• Cost breakdown for BOQ items regarding direct & indirect costs. Contributing in any cost breakdown related to new scope & Change or Variation orders.

• Floating Enquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers & Comparison Studies based on suppliers Quotations.

• Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product.

• Based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out Value engineering studies.

• Record Keeping, Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records.

• Worked Experience for Govt & Private Companies Project Bidding in the Kingdom.

NOTE:

1. Having a Saudi Arabia Experience for Turnkey Projects Bidding in recent years

2. Available in the Kingdom on a Transferable Iqama is preferable.

3. The Job is based in Riyadh main office and committed to the Company goals and Targets.

4. More familiar with the Bidding procedures, Processes and Govt requirements for Technical & Financial/Commercial.
