We are seeking an experienced electrical site engineer with a strong background in substation, GIS, and transformer projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and managing a team of electricians.
Key Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge of power system engineering principles and practices
Experience in designing and analyzing electrical power systems, including substation layout and protection schemes
Proficiency in using industry-standard software tools for power system analysis and design
Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of applicable safety and regulatory standards related to electrical power systems.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications: BSc Engineer degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with a focus on substation, GIS, and transformer projects.
3. Certifications: Valid electrical license, first aid certification, and any other relevant certifications.
4. Leadership: Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
5. Technical: Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including substations, GIS, and transformers.
Necessary Experience:
1. Substation Experience: Proven experience in substation construction, installation, and commissioning.
2. GIS Experience: Experience with GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) systems, including installation, testing, and commissioning.
3. Transformer Experience: Experience with transformer installation, testing, and commissioning.
