About the Role:
We are hiring a Safety Engineer on behalf of our client, a reputable organization committed to maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards in their operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations, and promoting a culture of safety across the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety procedures and policies in compliance with industry regulations.
• Conduct hazard and risk assessments and propose preventative measures.
• Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Provide safety training to employees and contractors.
• Maintain records of safety-related incidents and activities.
• Stay updated on relevant safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a safety engineering or HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) role.
• Knowledge of national and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is a plus.
