Qualification:

Bachelor's in Engineering (Mech or Elec)

Experience:

Minimum 8 to 10 Years as Estimation & Proposal Engineer (MEP)

Required Skills / Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical

Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

Knowledge of AutoCAD & Coordination Drawing Systems

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Strong planning, analytical skills, and attention to detail

Able to work on extended hours to fulfil and respond to emergencies

Tenders Cost Estimation Knowledge

Tenders Cost Estimation Software’s

Experience in Project Value Engineering

Experience in drafting MEP subcontractors’ scope of work

Responsible for directing company-wide estimating & tendering and all associated activities related to Tenders.

To actively participate in the management of various tenders

To review and complete the bid forms and ensure that they are within the given specifications

To evaluate bids and provide the pricing promptly

To conceptualise layouts for the project and review all estimates before they are submitted

To closely monitor the results of the tenders and update them in the tender register

Develop cost estimates and coordinate proposals for assigned estimating projects.

Provide area-specific forecasts and report project status.

Manage multiple bids and perform as liaison between the estimating team and Management

Revise estimates and implement required changes.

Participate in pre- and post-bid meetings as required.

Perform as liaison for Project Management when the tender is awarded and becomes a job on hand.

Review, provide feedback and evaluate the performance of Estimators and QS

Status:

Iqama should be Transferable
