Immediate Hiring: Project Civil Engineer – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (6-Month Project - Can be extended based on performance and company requirement.)
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team for a high-profile construction project in Riyadh. You will be reporting to the project director.
This is a 6-month contract position, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Duration: 6 months (immediate start)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage civil construction activities from planning to execution.
2. Coordinate closely with MEP contractors to ensure smooth integration of works.
3. Regularly update the project schedule on MS Project and Primavera as required or as per client instructions, including preparation of cash flow histograms, resource loading, and progress reports.
4. Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion within budget.
5. Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code and company quality standards.
6. Identify and resolve on-site technical and coordination issues promptly.
7. Report regularly to management on project status and milestones.
8. Ensure implementation of all approved drawings on site, maintaining the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
9. Deal directly with consultants and clients as required, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
1. At least 12+ years of proven experience as a Project Civil Engineer, preferably on similar fast-track projects.
2. Strong proficiency in Primavera and MS Project.
3. PMP Certification is preferred.
4. Thorough knowledge of the Saudi Building Code.
5. Excellent communication, leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.
6. Language: Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
7. Must have own car for daily commute to site.
