We are seeking an experienced and Aramco Approved Safety Officer to ensure that all site activities are executed in full compliance with Saudi Aramco’s safety standards, project HSE plans, and applicable regulatory requirements. The candidate must be proactive in promoting a strong safety culture and preventing accidents or incidents at the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce Saudi Aramco's HSE policies, procedures, and safety plans on-site.
Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for site personnel.
Carry out regular site inspections, hazard identifications, and risk assessments, reporting unsafe acts/conditions.
Maintain and verify the use of PPE, safety equipment, and emergency procedures.
Prepare safety reports, incident/accident reports, near-miss investigations, and HSE statistics.
Ensure full compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) systems including confined space, hot work, excavation, and working at height.
Coordinate with Aramco Safety Representatives and attend HSE meetings and audits.
Support emergency drills and ensure preparedness for fire, spills, or other incidents.
Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure their compliance with HSE requirements.
Requirements:
Valid Aramco Safety Officer Approval/Badge.
NEBOSH IGC / OSHA / IOSH or equivalent HSE certifications.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in oil & gas, construction, or industrial projects, with at least 2 years on Aramco projects.
Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco HSE procedures, standards (SAES, GI, SAEP), and PTW systems.
Excellent communication, reporting, and incident investigation skills.
Capable of working under pressure and handling emergencies effectively.
Good knowledge of English; Arabic is a plus.
